Moved from the article:

"The info. concerning his death appears to be incorrect as he died in July/44 and the Battle of Midway was in June of 1942."

Possible copyvio

[edit]

A large portion of this is copied from here. Anyone know if that is freely shared info or copyrighted?--Nobunaga24 09:21, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Indecisive

[edit]

I deleted

"the massive aircrew losses at the Battle of the Eastern Solomons and the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands would prove decisive to the performance of the Japanese navy in later engagements."

because Midway was far & away more important. TREKphiler hit me ♠ 22:29, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Considering just how important Nagumo was to the war in the pacific, attack on Pearl Harbor, battle of Midway, I would think this article would be longer, and have more citations. I would like to add some citations and additional history to this article for my class project Frankiecc (talk) 04:57, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
