Actual height

[edit]

The official marker stone at the summit, along with several other signs and various trinkets in the summit souvenir shop, gives the height as 2565m. One sign goes so far as to state "2565.3341 Meters Above Mean Sea Level" (in English and Thai).

http://www.dnp.go.th/parkreserve/asp/style1/default.asp?npid=1&lg=2 also says "2,565 meters above the sea level" (sic).

Conflicting names of mountain range

[edit]

The name of the range that Doi Inthanon is part of conflicts between Geography (Thanon Thong Chai Range) and the infobox (Shan Hills). Lestermandersson (talk) 14:21, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanon Thong Chai is a subrange of Shan Hills, thus they're both correct. Lestermandersson (talk) 07:38, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Many sources claim that it's part of the Himalayan range. Possibly apocryphal. Kortoso (talk) 00:08, 21 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
