General improvements

[edit]

If anyone has the interest in looking them up, adding some of Belfour's more unsavoury incidents might be wise- I've already noted the Auld altercation. --Scimitar 16:01, 4 January 2007 (UTC) didn't he try to bribe a cop..i can't find a good source for it -pirate[reply]

Didn't Belfour beat his wife in one incident when he was with Dallas?--74.101.74.85 19:52, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
He wasn't married while he was in Dallas and there has never been any allegations of spousal abuse on his part. - Jeffhaff 11:38, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, the leaving out of some of the drunk and disorderly charges, as well as arrests, not to mention Belfour's lies/misrepresentations to the Sharks during his time there makes this sound a lot like a fan fluff piece. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.28.224.198 (talk) 21:25, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's the beauty of Wikipedia. You are free to add any info you have a valid source on. Jump right in. - Jeffhaff —Preceding comment was added at 14:01, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Give the guy a break! So he does the odd stupid thing. Bao Pu (talk) 16:43, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding: "On July 1, 2006, Maple Leafs General Manager John Ferguson Jr released Belfour to free agency after a lacklustre 22–22–4 record and a 3.29 GAA." I think something should be said about the Leaf team in front of him. The change in goaltender there hasn't improved anything. Bao Pu (talk) 16:43, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are right Bao Pultalk...Can you imagine what the Leafs season would have been like if Eddie played there the way he did with Leksand.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.162.120.197 (talk) 05:35, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone make this correction, since I don't know how? The last two seasons in the NHL have 4 and 10 ties mentioned, but these are actually overtime losses. Bao Pu (talk) 14:14, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nickname

[edit]

Saving the nickname "Eddie the Eagle" for future use in prose. -Djsasso (talk) 00:41, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't it be Billion Dollar Belfour? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.130.24.211 (talk) 21:27, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
