Inclination contradiction

[edit]

The Mission Statistics table gives the Orbit Inclination as 40.3 degrees, but the Mission Parameters section of the article gives the Inclination as 39.0 degrees. Can someone please fix/explain this? --NoPetrol 02:34, 1 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Texas

[edit]

I don't see how this Texas connection is informational, scientific, documented, or in good taste (connecting to such a disaster . . . pride or to condemn, it's in poor taste). I'd strike it.

Enya Song Played for Blue Team

[edit]

I heard here that the Enya song "Silver Inches" was played.

Dear 76.16.151.77, it really was played for the astronauts, at least according to the Chronology of Wake-up calls used as a source in most other spaceflight articles. For whatever reason, this article doesn't have its own wake-up calls section yet, so I'd figure I'd make one. I'll start a draft table below. --SpacePod9 (talk) 06:17, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Slovak Wikipedia Page Article

[edit]

This version of the STS-107 article on the Slovak wikipedia is actually a featured article, and it has some nice details, images, and archived links, including the ones for the WAV files of the wake-up call recordings. Here it is (https://sk.wikipedia.org/wiki/STS-107), though I'm not sure how much of it was directly translated from this English wikipedia page (and the Columbia disaster page) or if its in an original tone. I can't read or write Slovak so I couldn't tell ya without Google Translate. SpacePod9 (talk) 06:51, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
