Article's origin

[edit]

I added this page as I still have my 1984 'Oric Atmos', and wanted the information in, and it previously just had a couple of 'dead' links to it. It was my first try at editing in Wikipedia, and I know I messed it up a bit, as User:Secretlondon put the triple-quotes bit in.

I've just added the 'Oric 1' bit at the bottom, as it is really not much different, and doesn't really need a separate page. There are only two pages that link in here, both of which have 'dead' links for 'Oric 1' and 'Oric' (for whom I have NO information).

Is it better to amend the 'dead' links to point here, do a redirect or what? My guess would be to fix the 'Oric 1' links to here, and leave the 'Oric' ones dead.

Category entry

[edit]

I tried to include the Oric 1 in the Atmos' category entry by editing the category item as follows:

[[Category:Home computers|Oric Atmos and Oric 1]]

This didn't work, however, despite the many similar examples of such 'fixes' I've seen/made. Clues, anyone? --Wernher 21:51, 27 Jun 2004 (UTC)
