Santa Susana Mountain?

[edit]

The citation does not support Mount Disappointment being seen from Santa Susana Mountain. There are the Santa Susana Mountains. Variant names for this range are "Scorpion Hills", "Sierra De Santa Susana" and "Sierra Santa Susanna". All of these names suggest a range of mountains. I can find no documentation for a Santa Susana Mountain. The highest point in the Santa Susana's is Oak Mountain and the benchmark station on that mountain dates from 1898. However the Mount Disappointment was named in 1875 according to the cited reference. I'll try to find better documentation unless someone else does first. droll [chat] 09:06, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
