Tony, is there a reason why the pic isn't in the taxobox? Just asking. I can do it for you if you wish but I didn't want to go ahead if there was a reason why you put it where you did.

It mentions that they're part of the Anatinae family twice.. Should it say this?

I thought this article was about 'diving ducks' and not 'dabbling ducks'. At the bottom of the systematics, this can be found:

FAMILY ANATIDAE Subfamily Aythyinae: dabbling ducks

I'm not knowledgeable on the subject so I don't want to edit it but it doesn't seem logical. Regards, --ogenstein 02:39, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Genus Bucephala not treated in systematics section

[edit]

Bucephala is mentioned in the article text, but missing entirely from the systematics section. --arkuat (talk) 00:10, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's Merginae (or Mergini): seaducks, not diving ducks. Dysmorodrepanis (talk) 02:34, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
