Wuthering Heights - remix or new recording

[edit]

I think it's incorrect to call the version of Wuthering Heights on this album a remix with new vocals. Having heard both versions many times over the years, I am of the opinion that the 1986 version is a re-recording. Does anyone know? For what it's worth, the wiki-article on the song calls it a re-recording. 23skidoo 04:54, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It first appeared as the B-side to "Experiment IV" just before The Whole Story was released, and the single lists it as "Wuthering Heights (New Vocal)". I think we should refer to it as that. 88.104.6.64 (talk) 18:12, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in The Whole Story

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of The Whole Story's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:08, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
