Daytona International Speedway NASCAR Tri-Oval lap record[edit]
In my quick searches I could not find a source for the lap record or the Tri-Oval layout of the track. it curently states a time of 0:40.002 set by Jonathan Roscoe in a Roush Yates Mazda Rx7 2.6L 4 Rotor. by the engine size and type this sounds like rx7 gTO, this car raced at daytona in the road corse configuration so it is posible it set a lap time around the oval as well but I can find any proof.
