This whole article is a definition. I can't see how it can ever be turned into a full article. Render is a word. Rlee0001 20:14 Jul 26, 2002 (PDT)

Audio Rendering?

[edit]

These articles use the term render to mean producing audio, rather than graphics, but I am unsure how to link/disambiguate it: Surround sound, Scream in Blue, Epigonion, Sound film, Personal Audio, JMusic, SoundRenderer, DLS format, OpenAL, DirectX/DirectSound, Windows legacy audio components along with Template:IOS 7

I found some quick references: Introduction to Sound Rendering - UNC Computer Science, [1], Distributed 3D Audio Rendering - Conferences

I haven't found a Wikipedia article on it, though, so is it in another article, too obscure or otherwise not qualified to be here, or just not made, yet? Even Wiktionary doesn't list audio rendering in the definition of render, except maybe under translation. It sometimes is used to mean causing, as in rendered worthless, but I don't really see that, either... Is there enough reason to warrant a new article, or maybe a redlink on this page somewhere, would it be better to just unlink the term, or is there some place to link that I missed? Thanks for input. -PC-XT+ 08:04, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
