I can't believe 71 votes was the lowest ever in a UK general election, or even the lowest since the Reform Act 1832. Can anybody find a source for this? sjorford →•← 10:00, 23 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

71 certainly wasn't the lowest number of votes for a candidate, B. C. Wedmore stood against Margaret Thatcher in 1983 (Finchley) and took just 13 votes. DONKUH!
