I removed this, at least temporarily, while I check it for accuracy (it conflicts with an on line reference but that reference hasn't been verified yet).

However this caused Kennedy to win by only a narrow victory, as well as weakening his power with southern conservatives. Also Kennedy was percieved as inexperianced. Submitted by 128.227.163.105 on April 27, 2005.

This material seems to be contrafactual since several sources place the Kennedy round after Kennedy's assassination. It may be that the material refers to the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 and is being misinterpreted. RJFJR 01:28, Apr 28, 2005 (UTC)
