Ama no Jaku

[edit]

I just stopped by to mention that I agree with you about the meaning of 'Ama no Jaku' and that I've edited that article accordingly. BTW, has someone vandalized your user page? It's a bit... odd. Franzeska 21:52, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

True, 'imp of heaven' is peculiar as well, but that was the most common translation I found online. I have the impression that some other name for the same creatures involves the ocean, so perhaps that's where the confusion arose from.

Renaming an article

[edit]

Hi Uly,

User:Endroit was kind enough to rename the article for you.

Wikipedia calls it "moving" so the way to do it is to click the Move tab near the top of the window. Then enter the new name and take it from there. The Move tab only appears when you're logged in, so in the future if you don't see it, simply log in (you were logged in when you put in the move request, so I'm sure you know all about that).

Best regards,

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Characters of Final Fantasy XII, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. — Blue 01:00, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
