Name of Cathedral in English

[edit]

Is this (St. Michael and Gudula Cathedral) the correct name of the Cathedral in English? It seems illogical, as it sounds to be implying that Michael is a saint, but Gudula is not (in fact both of them are). Would the article not be better titled 'St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral' or 'Cathedral of Saints Michael and Gudula'? (The French, Dutch and Italian versions of this article already reflect this.) --David Edgar 12:40, 1 Feb 2005 (UTC)

After three and a half years with no objections, I renamed this page. Google showed about 18,800 matches for "St. Michael and Gudula Cathedral", but about 64,200 for "St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral". This name is also closer to the various names on the English page on the official site. --David Edgar (talk) 13:17, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

for the seventh year in a row thing, based on the year it started, wouldn't it be longer?

Anti-Semitic Stained Glass Window

[edit]

Shouldn't there be something about the anti-Semitic stained glass window illustration? It's an enormous window in this cathedral portraying sinister-looking Jews defiling the Catholic Host, which was a story used to defend the Brussels massacre of Jews (see that article for the image of the window).
