This article was accidentally created under a miss-spelling of polorisation and then the correct page was created without performing a move. Therefore this page is now redundant and should be removed or at worst become a REDIRECT.
Not sure if the above constitutes a good reason for merger, but yes, DNP should be merged with Overhauser effect.
This topic should be elaborated. True, DNP was first performed through the Overhauser Effect in 1950's. But it has been generalized as a method to transfer spin polarization from electrons to nuclei. In addition to the Overhauser Effect, polarizing mechanisms can be the solid effect, the cross effect and thermal mixing.

Re: "and to the is hyperfine interaction" I suspect the is is redundant. But it might just be my ignorance re the subject. ϢereSpielChequers 22:10, 9 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Dynamic nuclear polarisation. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20060109074625/http://www.physics.purdue.edu/about_us/history/Albert_W_Overhauser.shtml to http://www.physics.purdue.edu/about_us/history/Albert_W_Overhauser.shtml
When you have finished reviewing my changes, you may follow the instructions on the template below to fix any issues with the URLs.
