Saddam Hussein

[edit]

The repeated use of the full name "Saddam Hussein" every paragaph is bad grammar. RickK 07:53, Mar 8, 2005 (UTC)

That works.  :) RickK 08:09, Mar 8, 2005 (UTC)

Baked Bean Sandwich

[edit]

That's one of the coolest articles I've seen in a long time. Offbeat articles are what make this site fun. - Lucky 6.9 02:17, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Well, thank you :) I have just completed the consumption of one "student style" sandwich with the provided recipe ;)

Communism

[edit]

I had already started a discussion on the free market communist section in the discussion portion of the communist page. I believe the part fits quiet well to elucidate the drastic change that communism has made. Especially if communists like Nati can claim that communism as practiced isnt real communism thus skirting any human rights violations that could be blamed upon them. She/he is ignoring the discussion. I re posted my section, after again editing it, and then asked her to see the discussion to express her concerns before deletion. We will see if she/he plays along or just delets what she/he does not like to see. Which makes the deletion a deletion for POV reasons. (Gibby 08:30, 11 December 2005 (UTC))

Tea cake accompaniment anomaly

[edit]

Hi. I see that you took the photo of the tea cake (well done), and gave it a caption of "A toasted teacake with tea." That beverage looks more like hot chocolate to me. Would you kindly confirm that it really is tea? --Heron 22:26, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your assertion that the article was to promote the band isn't sound. The band is no longer together, so there's nothing to promote. Either way, the band had multiple singles with a notable label, so the band itself would be notable. Would you consider merging or redirecting instead? (For more info, see my comment at the AFD) - Mgm|(talk) 21:54, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A tag has been placed on ReadyToSurf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ♠PMC(talk) 21:12, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
