I reverted the comment about the Islamic faith because it sounded POV and it probably is not accurate (see my comments in Talk:Balkans#Religion in Albania regarding this). Dori | Talk 03:31, Dec 1, 2003 (UTC)

Turkish influence

We should also mention the Turkish influence on some Albanian dishes sinse it was indeed influenced by ottoman rule.--Nadirali نادرالی

I recently went to Albania and ate a desert called "Trilece" or "Trileche" as waiter told me when I asked. Can it be listed if someone is more familiar with this? Also I cannot find recipe anywhere - it is pastry with coconut soaked with sweet milk and caramel topping, delicious.
