Talk:Rail transit in Baltimore, Maryland

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello all, I just added this page. Anyone with good photos of Baltimore light rail or subway vehicles, please add them as needed I'm going to try to take some myself in the next few weeks. Also, if anyone is handy with drawing subway maps, I think that would really help clarify some of my descriptions. Of course, added information or corrections are welcome.

Before you speedy delete...

[edit]

I agree that most of this material has now been duplicated elsewhere (none of those other pages existed when I created it lo those many years ago). There are a lot of links back to it, though, so I would just request that anyone who deletes it fix those before deleting. Thanks. --Jfruh (talk) 16:12, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It doesnt make any sense to keep this article considering that all of it is in other pages. This page is completely useless.Thx2005 16:45, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Did you even read what I just said? I didn't argue with you ... I just wanted to remind you that if you're going to delete a page that many other pages link to, you should take responsibility for fixing those links so that they aren't broken. --Jfruh (talk) 18:11, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Correction...no MTA page on Wikipedia links here. I should know, I cleanup up them all. So...again...this page is comepletly useless. And I've alreadt taken complete responsibility by making a new template for the MTA cleaning up the mess in the other rail articles.Thx2005 18:27, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redundancy is not on WP:CSD. See WP:MERGE, WP:REDIRECT for what can be done here. Sandstein 21:11, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay...THIS IS ALREADY MERGED INTO ALL OF THE TRANSIT ARTICLES. There is no point in keeping this page. All of the thins mentioned in this page are mentioned in the other pages too. Why is this so hard to understand, especially consider that the majority of this stuff is cover in the main MTA page. WHY IS THERE A NEED TO KEEP IT?????? Thx2005 22:00, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the point is that it should be replaced by a redirect to the MTA page, not just deleted. Doing so still deletes all of its content, but redirects links to the new page, in case anyone tried linking to it again for some reason. --Jfruh (talk) 22:43, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
