I didn't know who "Dionne Quan" was so I followed the wikilink. There I found "Dionne Quan (born October 20, 1978)" - so which page is incorrect?Eh Nonymous (talk) 12:13, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Always go with the supporting article. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 14:32, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Black Saturday bushfires

[edit]

If no one has any objections, I've added the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires to the selected anniversaries table, seeing as how this year marks the first anniversary of the worst bushfires in Australia's history, which left 173 people dead.--Forward Unto Dawn 07:32, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, it should be included; it was a significant event that captured worldwide attention. I've reverted the changes made by Zzyzx11. If that user feels the 10th anniversary of a Pakistani university is significant, then that user should remove another item instead.--Just James T/C 08:25, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the Black Saturday bushfires article is well-written, well-referenced, and contains a number of useful links to other articles, including a subpage.--Just James T/C 08:34, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Births and Deaths

[edit]

Continuing the ongoing effort to reduce the size of the Births and Deaths sections to make them manageable, I'm removing some celebrities with few or no articles in other wikipedias, moving the entries to the appropriate Year in Topic article if they were not already present. This is in accordance with the guidelines. See discussions at Wikipedia_talk:Days_of_the_year. Deb (talk) 14:47, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You can add it yourself to this page, you don't need me. But this article is not really eligible for OTD because it's too short. howcheng {chat} 18:02, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Monopoly

[edit]

This article states that Monopoly was invented on 7th February, 1935.

However, the Wikipedia article on the game doesn’t say when it was invented.

But DOEs say the games was first published in 1935.

On the sixth of February!

Can we have some clarification of that … ?

If there's no reference, I'll just remove it. Deb (talk) 11:17, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
