it makes no sense to delete this article
Why in the heck would you want to delete an article about a multi-platform game about an incredibly significant historical figure!? Mindboggling to say the least@badidea.notgonnahappen! --164.107.223.217 02:01, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why? (n/t)

[edit]

Release Date

[edit]

I'm pretty sure that 1989 cannot be correct. As with most Koei games originating in Japan in this timeframe, I'd suspect this one came out first on NEC PC88/99 and was released soon after on North American PC and then soon after on the NES in both regions. I think the earliest this can have happened was 1990, and I'd even suspect even as late as 1991.

FC Twin Compatibility

[edit]

I'll hold off adding this unless if anyone else confirms the problems, but on my FC Twin, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade and Super Punch Out seem to play fine, but L'Empereur, which is good shape and played in a regular NES, doesn't want to play in my FC Twin. If anyone else can verify that this or other games are incompatible, I think we should create an incompatible list. Sincerely, --Le Grand Roi des Citrouilles 21:13, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is an incompatibility list for another NES clone at http://www.playmessiah.com/products/nex/compatibilitylist.htm and this list has L'empereur on it, so maybe the clones just don't play that game? Best, --164.107.223.217 02:01, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
