Why delete this article? It is about a relatively famous man in the cricketing world. Most people who follow cricket would have seen Pakistan play and if you've seen Pakistan play you've seen this guy. We have articles here for Big Brother winners and losers why not one for him?

I agree entirely. Especially about the BB losers; I can't see how they can possibly deserve their own page unless they become notable in some other way, but so many people create them now that it's a losing battle trying to say that. Loganberry (Talk) 23:15, 13 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I equally think it is a complete "no-brainer" to delete this - there is a lot of rubbish on wikipedia, but this is by no means some of it. Would we delete Ronald McDonald's article? No, so why delete the article of a far more positive figure. Is Ronald McDonald the public face of an entire nation's recreational activities (actually, don't answer that).

Why delete his article when this guy is quite a popular figure in the Sub continental cricket ....and is also the official mascot of the Pakistani cricket team. If this article gets deleted while wikipedia upholds some of the articles on the western world's much lesser known figures ...I will have no doubts on the nuetrality of the wikipedia's policies

Fair use rationale for Image:ChacaCricket.jpg

[edit]

Image:ChacaCricket.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Removed copyvio material

[edit]

I believe material added by User:115.167.122.251 was a WP:COPYVIO and have removed it and added a proper reference to the plagiarized article. Here is the edit in question. Jason Quinn (talk) 01:31, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
