Halsbury's First Edition

[edit]

Since this 31 volume set was published in 1907, it should now be copyright free on the same basis that the 1911 Britannica is. I own a full set. Any suggestions about how it might get scanned and whether it would be worth doing are invited.

I think you should do this. Perhaps talk to Google since they are scanning large numbers of books? Richard W.M. Jones 23:59, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Untag

[edit]

Given that the article is about Halsbury's Laws, a major innovation in the resources made available at the time, the brief account of the first edition in the History section is not "an excessive amount of intricate detail", and the tag should be removed.
