Proposed deletion of Magazine production

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Magazine production, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ~Ttony21(talk, contribs) 01:14, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tidying Up

[edit]

There was nothing on it. It needs deleting. It was a hint for someone to do it. There does not seem to be a mechanism for the originator of a a dud page to remove it.

The article Model Monorails‎ has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.Salamurai (talk) 18:13, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to BASIC, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. | Uncle Milty | talk | 14:42, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article "Highway Trailers" has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not show notability, and I can't find coverage in reliable sources - see also WP:CORP

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on "Highway Trailers" requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. References

[edit]

If you create stubby articles with absolutely no references you are bound to get them deleted. Please work on User:Wahiba/sandbox in that location until it is a proper article. Probably better to ask me or another experienced editor to approve it before you move it back to Highway Trailers - without "s around the title! I have moved Multiwheeler to User:Wahiba/Multiwheeler but the best treatment for this is probably to deal with it within the Highway Trailers article and just create a redirect at Multiwheeler Trailers.

Hoyner was derisorily stubby: Hoyner was a manufacturer of specialist road trailers based in Essex in the UK. These included specialist car carrying trailers and tipping semi-trailers. Do not re-create until you have a decent article. When you find you have created a red link, do something about it! Change [[road trailers]] to [[road trailer]]s, or use a piped link such as road trailers, create a new redirect such as fork-lift or even create a new article such as car transporter. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:14, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
