Re:Importance Ratings - Films based on the Gospels

[edit]

I put Top importance on most of the films in this Category because they are about the life of Christ. The ones I did'nt rate were the non-traditional films (e.g Godspell (film) and Jesus Christ Superstar (film)) and The Last Temptation of Christ (film) which I consider blasphemous, and also The Passion of the Christ which is too graphic for a general audience. I will reassess them with Mid importance. Kathleen.wright5 09:02, 3 March 2008 (UTC).[reply]

warning vandals

[edit]

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to List of people who have claimed to be Jesus: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Thank you. Enigma msg! 21:50, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: GPL'ng bibleverse script

[edit]

Hi and thanks for the offer. Yes, I did, and somewhat still do, intend to GPL the script. At the time I through it in a SF repository, but still haven't added a GPL notice.

I think those plans got confused with plans of rewriting the script, which got mixed up in the fact that I am doing something similar for accessing the Babylonian Talmud, only with somewhat greater intricacy.

And then that all of course got mixed up with the fact that my academic supervisor has told me that I have no time for such things this year =)

I know that wasn't so clear. If you want to join the SF project and hack things, you're welcome to!

Prophecy

[edit]

Hi. I can see you have added a lot of {{fact}} to the prophecy article, and I know you meant well, but its not really helpful. I am currently editing this back to a presentable article and will get to all the sections as I work my way from start to end, but too many citation requests just do not help. Please note that where you see something like "currently no evidence is available" it means that the sentense had replaced a lot of OR which was added unreferenced before, and is an invitation for people to provide such evidence. Deleting these sentences simply opens the "door" for renewed additions of unreliable content again. Cheers--mrg3105 (comms) ♠08:02, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Emerging Church

[edit]

You might want to check out recent changes to the emerging church article, especially some new content which exists for now in the section titled "postmodern worldview." I think we are getting closer to defining what the movement IS. There have been some recent edit wars but they have been resolved for now. No telling when a new one will erupt but we are at peace for the moment and I think the article is a little better and on the way to further improvement a little at a time.Will3935 (talk) 17:28, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for recent work on emerging church; I wonder what you think of trying to reduce and combine the many "values and characteristics" into something a bit more coherent? I would like this article to make sense, but at the moment the information isn't well organised, and has much duplication... enjoyed your improvements.
